A severe fire broke out in the Chong Chom border trade market, Dan Subdistrict, Kap Choeng District, Surin Province. last night The fire started in Soi 9, north of the market. The fire burned quickly. Because many shops are wooden shacks with zinc roofing. The products in the store include clothing, sportswear, bags, shoes, and wicker products. It was a good fuel and there was a strong wind as Thais and Cambodians rushed to unload merchandise from the stores. Some people even stood and hugged each other, crying, trembling, sad that they were destitute.

Officials mobilized a total of 35 fire trucks to spray water to extinguish the blaze. Therefore, the fire can be controlled within a limited area. But the fire was still smoldering all the time. The cause is under investigation. – Thai News Agency
