Bangkok: The Bank of Thailand (BOT) has revealed that flooding in the South has resulted in the temporary closure of 119 commercial bank branches, or nearly 70%.
According to Thai News Agency, the Bank of Thailand (BOT) has reported a summary of the number of commercial banking branches in five southern provinces: Songkhla, Yala, Pattani, Satun, and Narathiwat, which have been affected by the flooding situation. As of November 24, 2025, there were 119 branches temporarily closed, representing nearly 70% of the total number of branches.
