According to Thai News Agency, Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkaew, in an interview following the Cabinet meeting, commented on US President Donald Trump's announcement regarding the imminent end of conflict in the Middle East. He remarked that ending the conflict would be beneficial as it impacts everyone. However, he highlighted the importance of achieving a sustainable peace through negotiation and dialogue, rather than relying on military solutions, which do not yield lasting results.

Phuangketkaew emphasized the necessity of resolving the issue through peaceful dialogue and negotiation, advocating for a resolution that ensures long-term stability in the region. The focus, he insisted, should be on achieving a peace that can endure beyond immediate ceasefires.
