Foreign Ministry receives police request to revoke Red Bull heir’s passport

Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai said today that the ministry has received the official request of Thong Lor police station to revoke the passport of Red Bull heir Vorayuth Boss Yoovidhya.

He said that it would take a few days to process the request and revoke his passport.

Asked to comment on how the ministry could help to locate the heir after he was reported to leave Singapore, his last known destination, Mr Don said the ministry's network overseas could act as ears and eyes.

But he said it was not possible for its authorities to go out and find him everywhere unless clear information is received from the police.

Immigration Bureau commissioner Pol Lt Gen Nattatorn Prohsunthorn, meanwhile, said latest information received was that Boss left Don Mueang airport for Singapore on April 25 on board his personal jet.

There was no further information on other destinations he left after Singapore, he said.

However if he re-enters the country the alert system will function and he will be arrested immediately.
