Bangkok: Gastech 2026, a global energy event of significant importance, kicks off today as MCOT broadcasts its Insight Investor program live.

According to Thai News Agency, since the early hours, a multitude of energy leaders, government agencies, and related businesses have converged at the BITEC Exhibition and Convention Center. The venue, under stringent security measures, hosts this year's Gastech, a collaborative effort by Thailand's Ministry of Energy and DMG Events. The focus is on advancing future energy innovations encompassing natural gas, LNG, hydrogen, and low-carbon solutions, as well as developments in the maritime industry, electricity systems, and AI for the energy sector.

Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul is scheduled to officially inaugurate the event with a speech at 10:10 AM. Gastech 2026 will feature demonstrations of cutting-edge technological innovations and solutions from premier energy companies. The event aims to unveil new prospects in trade, investment, technology, and international cooperation. Additionally, it will underscore Thailand's potential on the global energy stage, emphasizing its ability to integrate regional energy policies and technology, thereby paving the way for future economic and industrial opportunities in the sector.

Both Thai and international media have established their presence to cover the event, with MCOT prominently positioned to broadcast its "Insight Investor" program live from the location.
