General Kung Debuts “A Life Without Regrets” at National Book Week

Bangkok: "A Life Without Regrets," the debut book by General Boonsin Padklang, was officially launched with support from MCOT at the 54th National Book Week. The book offers a detailed account of General Boonsin's journey from his roots in northeastern Thailand to becoming a military leader.

According to Thai News Agency, the event was graced by Ms. Suntariya Wongsirikul, Senior Vice President of Finance at MCOT Public Company Limited. MCOT played a significant role in supporting the project by donating copies of the book to school libraries across the nation, contributing 100,000 baht worth of books to selected institutions. General Boonsin, former Commander of the 2nd Army Region, has shared his real-life experiences and life lessons in this publication, which is published by Thap Aksara Publishing.

In "A Life Without Regrets," General Boonsin narrates his life story from his childhood in northeastern Thailand to his military career. The book highlights the challenges and perseverance he faced, illustrating the courage, decisiveness, and dignity required in military service. It also delves into the fears and hardships that shaped his strength and served as an inspiration for future generations.

During the launch, General Boonsin engaged with readers in a meet-and-greet session and signed copies of the book, which received substantial interest. A portion of the sales, specifically fifteen percent of the book sales proceeds from the fair, will be donated to the Royal Thai Army.

The book is available for purchase at the 54th National Book Week from Thappaksara Publishing (Booth I26) until April 6th, 2026, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. It can also be ordered through all online platforms of Thappaksara Publishing.
