Governors Lead Vibrant Campaign Push Ahead of Elections and Referendum

Nakhon ratchasima: The Governor of Nakhon Ratchasima inaugurated a "Big Day" event to intensify the final campaign push before the parliamentary elections and referendum.

According to Thai News Agency, over 2,000 people, including government officials, partner networks from the public and private sectors, and the general public, participated in the event. The Nakhon Ratchasima Election Commission has confirmed its readiness to manage the elections across all 16 constituencies. Complaints have surfaced, primarily concerning general campaigning issues such as suspected vote buying and transporting people to rallies. Additionally, one candidate in Constituency 13 has been disqualified, a matter that has been publicly announced.

In Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, the governor led over 500 government officials and students in a campaign to encourage voter participation in the upcoming elections and referendum. A standout feature of the campaign was the involvement of two elephants from the Wang Chang Lae Peniat elephant camp in casting their votes, adding a unique element to the event. Following the campaign, the governor led participants on a walk along Uthong Road to further promote and encourage citizens to exercise their right to vote.
