GPF joins forces with Tipy Insurance to take care of members

Bangkok, GPF joins hands with Tip Insurance to launch a special campaign for personal accident insurance, with some of the proceeds going to scholarships for 27 schools nationwide. Mr. Songpol Chivapanyarot, Secretary-General of the Government Pension Fund (GPF), revealed that the GPF has joined hands with Tip Insurance through the project 'GPF-Tipy, Fulfilling Happiness, Passing on the Future' to provide protection and care for the lives of GPF members with personal accident insurance services, special premium prices, and support for youth education. The project period is 1 year, ending in August 2025. Under this project, Dhipaya Insurance will donate part of its income from selling personal accident insurance as scholarships to 27 schools nationwide. GPF is currently coordinating with the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) to select schools that it wants to support and create educational opportunities for youth. For every insurance policy purchased by a GPF member, a portion will be donated as scholarships. GPF currently has 1.2 million members, making it the second-highest number of GPF members using their rights, with an average of 7% of all members using their insurance rights per year. Dr. Somporn Suebthavilkul, Chief Executive Officer of Tip Group Holdings Public Company Limited and Managing Director of Tip Insurance Public Company Limited, said that on the occasion of Tip Insurance's 72nd anniversary and GPF's 27th anniversary, both organizations have jointly established the 'GPF-Tipy, Fulfilling Happiness, Passing On to the Future' project to provide special privileges to GPF members to support all GPF members to have personal accident insurance as a guarantee to live happily and worry-free. With a short-term accident insurance policy at a special price of 27 baht, providing maximum coverage of 10,000 baht, and 72 baht, providing maximum coverage of 72,000 baht, with a coverage period of 30 days from the date of policy purchase, GPF members can purchase policies through online channels from today until 31 August 2025. GPF members who purchase insurance will receive the policy in e-policy format to support the reduction of paper usage and help reduce global warming. For GPF members who purchase short-term accident insurance under the project "GPF-Thipya Fulfilling Happiness, Passing on the Future" every policy from today until August 31, 2025 will have a chance to win many prizes worth more than 600,000 baht, such as 10 electric motorcycles, 72 Government Savings Bank lottery prizes, 72 travel bags, etc. Source: Thai News Agency
