Graduates and Medical Professionals Unite for CSR Initiative on Health Care

Bangkok: The 8th graduating class of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) collaborated with doctors and dentists to conduct a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative focused on enhancing oral and overall health care.

According to Thai News Agency, the Thai-Chinese Leadership Institute at Huachiew Chalermprakiat University partnered with the Faculty of Medicine at Chulalongkorn University, Chulalongkorn Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society, and the Faculty of Dentistry at Mahidol University to organize a community service project titled "Oral and Physical Health Care with Creative Arts" at Baan Phra Porn Foundation. The event aimed to promote both physical and oral health while fostering creativity among the youth under the foundation's care.

Mr. Chanchai Chaiprasit, Chairman of the 8th cohort of the Science and Technology Program, led the ceremony, and Prof. Dr. Darin Sawostikul, Chair of the CSR Subcommittee, welcomed the participants. The initiative seeks to provide the necessary opportunities, care, and support for these children and youth, enabling them to grow and successfully reintegrate into society.

The event attracted over 150 participants, including executives, students from the 8th cohort of the Thai-Chinese Studies program, medical faculty, medical personnel, and volunteers. Activities included health check-ups, oral health care, and creative arts sessions. The children received gifts such as coloring sets, snacks, ice cream, balloons, and dolls, contributing to an atmosphere of warmth and shared community spirit, highlighting the collective effort to build a supportive and sustainable society.
