Guillermo Ochoa Sets Record with Sixth World Cup Appearance

Mexico city: Guillermo Ochoa, the veteran goalkeeper of the Mexican national team, has made his sixth World Cup appearance, setting a record in the process. Prior to this, the 40-year-old had participated in five World Cups: 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022.

According to Thai News Agency, Ochoa was recently substituted into the game as a reserve player in the 78th minute of Mexico's match against the Czech Republic on June 25th. This appearance marked his sixth participation in World Cup tournaments, a milestone achieved before his official retirement after the conclusion of this tournament.
