They entered the prison with Mr. Winyat Chatmontri, Thaksin's lawyer, to engage in discussions regarding recent events. According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paetongtarn later spoke to the media, revealing that Thaksin sang "Let It Be" to her during their visit. The conversation mainly revolved around current events rather than the direction of the Pheu Thai Party. Ms. Paetongtarn mentioned that her cooking training had concluded and, after thanking everyone, departed promptly, receiving mangosteen from supporters. Mr. Winyat addressed the media regarding false information circulating about Thaksin. He stated that legal action would be taken against those spreading baseless claims linking Thaksin to illicit activities and Chinese arrests. He emphasized the importance of countering these accusations to protect Tha ksin's reputation and the integrity of the election atmosphere. Despite the reluctance to pursue legal action, Mr. Winyat asserted that spreading harmful rumors is unacceptable. In terms of Thaksin's health, Mr. Winyat noted improvements, mentioning past issues with high blood pressure that are now under control. Thaksin is reportedly in good spirits, receiving treatment, and taking care of himself. As for potential requests for a royal pardon or parole, Mr. Winyat stated that nothing is currently in place, and the legal process is proceeding as expected.
