Bangkok, The government invites the public to join the royal procession and join activities on the occasion of the auspicious ceremony of His Majesty the King's 6th cycle birthday anniversary on 28 July 2024. The Royal Thai Police and related agencies are ready to provide assistance to the public who come to the event. Today (27 July 2024) at 12.00 noon, Ms. Jiraporn Sindhuphrai, Minister to the Prime Minister's Office, Mr. Surapong Piyachote, Deputy Minister of Transport, Pol. Gen. Kraibhun Thawasong, Inspector-General of the Royal Thai Police, Pol. Maj. Gen. Thawat Wongsanga, Deputy Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, and Pol. Maj. Gen. Sirawat Deepo, Deputy Spokesperson of the Royal Thai Police, jointly announced the preparation for public relations and facilitation for the public at the ceremony of offering royal tributes and candle lighting ceremony to offer auspicious blessings on the occasion of the auspicious ceremony of His Majesty the King's 6th cycle birthday anniversary on 28 July 20 24 at Sanam Luang. The government, in cooperation with various agencies, organized activities to honor His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King's 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on July 28, 2024. Activities throughout July 2024 included the preparation of holy water, which included a ritual ceremony to collect holy water from every province to perform a water blessing ceremony, and a candlelight procession in each province before the holy water was brought to the Ministry of Interior for safekeeping. Royal Procession Ceremony, carrying holy water from Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimonmangklararm Ratchaworamahawihan to Amarin Winitchai Throne Hall in the Grand Palace. - 07.00 hrs. Buddhist chanting ceremony and alms giving as royal merit at Sanam Luang. - 07.45 hrs. Oath-taking ceremony to be a good civil servant and a power of the country at Sanam Luang. - 10.00 hrs. His Majesty the King grants a grand audience to receive auspicious blessings at Amarin Winitchai Throne Hall, the Grand Palace. - 12.00 hrs. The three armed forces fire a royal salute of 21 guns each. - 17.00 hrs. His Majesty the King His Majesty proceeded to perform royal merit-making and confer the ecclesiastical titles on Chinese, Vietnamese, and Buddhist monks. - 5:30 p.m. Ceremony to offer royal tributes and lay wreaths at Sanam Luang. - 7:19 p.m. Ceremony to light candles to offer auspicious blessings at Sanam L uang, Bangkok. There are 5 routes as follows: 1. Victory Monument (Phaya Thai Island side) - Sanam Luang: Pick up and drop off in front of the Supreme Court 2. Sai Tai Mai - Sanam Luang: Pick up and drop off in front of the Supreme Court 3. Mo Chit 2 - Sanam Luang: Pick up and drop off in front of the Supreme Court 4. Wongwian Yai - Sanam Luang: Pick up and drop off opposite the Supreme Court 5. The bus operates in a circle on the route Sanam Luang - Tha Chang - Tha Tien. -The State Railway of Thailand will provide 3 special train routes for free service on July 28, 2024, including Route 1: Ayutthaya Station - Bangkok Station (Hua Lamph ong), departing from Ayutthaya Station at 13.35 hrs. and departing from Bangkok Station (Hua Lamphong) at 22.20 hrs. In order to provide convenience to the people traveling from various provinces, the Royal Thai Police has assigned the provincial police to be responsible for coordinating and arranging escort vehicles for the safety of the people.
