Liverpool:Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola expressed his dissatisfaction with the referee and VAR following a controversial decision during the team's 0-1 defeat to Arsenal at Anfield in the Premier League.

According to Thai News Agency, Iraola was unhappy with the officials' failure to address an incident where Alexander Isak's shirt was pulled by Jerryn Timber in the penalty area. The incident took place when Liverpool crossed the ball into the area, and Isak attempted a header but missed. Replays indicated that Timber's shirt pull prevented the Swedish player from reaching the ball.

Despite the clear evidence from replays, the referee and VAR chose to ignore the incident. Iraola pointed out that similar situations in past matches have seen VAR intervene, resulting in overturned decisions and awarded penalties.
