Surin: The Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC) is conducting a training program titled 'Developing Security Network Relationships at the Executive Level' in Surin Province, aiming to strengthen cooperation across all sectors and build sustainable security.
According to Thai News Agency, this initiative, organized by ISOC's Public Relations and Information Office, targets the enhancement of local security measures. The program, known as the "Executive Level Security Network Development Training Course," is specifically tailored for the ISOC Surin Province and marks the first batch of 2026. The training involves executives from the government, private sector, and civil society, all participating actively.
Lieutenant General Thanathip Sawangsang, Director of the Public Relations and Information Office, led a delegation to oversee the operations within ISOC Region 2. His focus was on ensuring the efficiency of operations and their alignment with central government policies. The training's primary goal is to foster relationships and develop collaborative networks among leaders from various sectors. This preparation is crucial for addressing threats like border security, internal security, and disasters, emphasizing a systematic integration of efforts.
During the opening ceremony, the Deputy Governor of Surin Province, also the Deputy Director of Internal Security for Surin Province, addressed the trainees. He highlighted the importance of cross-sector participation in bolstering national security and encouraged the application of the gained knowledge to enhance efforts within their respective domains. The five-day course, running from March 23-27, 2026, includes academic activities, field trips, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, engaging fifty-one participants from diverse sectors.
Distinguished speakers were invited to share insights on security matters, broadening the perspectives and capabilities of the participants. At the conclusion of the training, outstanding teachers from Surin Province met with Lieutenant General Thanathip and the Deputy Governor of Surin Province (Military Affairs) to exchange views on security. Their discussions centered on integrating cooperation across sectors to enhance preparedness and jointly drive sustainable security in the region.
