Yala: The Internal Security Operations Command Region 4 (ISOC Region 4) has issued a warning for the public to stay away from Ban Po Yani in Yala. This advisory comes after an armed attack targeting security forces in the area.

According to Thai News Agency, the ISOC Region 4 Forward Headquarters shared on their Facebook page that security agencies were involved in a coordinated law enforcement operation in Ban Po Yani, located in the Sateng Nok Subdistrict of Mueang Yala District, Yala Province. During the operation, suspects opened fire on the officers. Fortunately, there were no immediate reports of injuries.

Residents and visitors are advised to exercise caution and avoid the area. The ISOC has emphasized the importance of vigilance and has urged individuals to report any suspicious activities to the nearest task force or by calling the hotline number 1341.
