Hua Hin: “Ittiporn” invites people to join municipal elections, expects 70 percent of voters nationwide to vote. The Election Commission chairman inspected the readiness for the election of members of the Hua Hin Municipality Council and the mayor, inviting people to come out and vote, expecting 70 percent of voters nationwide to vote.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Ittiporn Boonprakong, Chairman of the Election Commission, visited Hua Hin School in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province to observe the polling stations for the election of municipal council members and mayors. There are eight polling stations at the school, and officials were seen preparing since morning for eligible voters to exercise their rights. The Chairman ensured the polling stations adhered to regulations, while greeting voters who waited to cast their votes.

The EC chairman advised citizens to be cautious of potential rain and informed that the Election Commission would monitor weather conditions, as it rained the previous night in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. Despite some stations using tents for voting, all polling stations opened without issues.

From the 338 complaints of election law violations, an additional 14 reports have been registered, totaling 352 complaints. This is a decrease from the 1,743 complaints in the previous election.
