Jesd and Chaiwut Campaign at Rungthaworn Market Amidst Warm Welcome from Vendors

Chanthaburi: "Jesd" and "Chaiwut" received an enthusiastic reception from vendors and the public during their campaign visit to Rungthaworn Market in Chanthaburi. The pair, campaigning to support candidates, highlighted the persistence of familiar political figures in power.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chaiwut Thanakamanusorn, leader of the Rak Chart Party and a prime ministerial candidate, alongside Mr. Jetsada Tonawanik, also a prime ministerial candidate, visited Rungthaworn Market in Soi Dao District, Chanthaburi Province. They were there to campaign for Mr. Adul Sripumsawas, the candidate for Chanthaburi Constituency 3, number 9. The visit was marked by a warm atmosphere, with vendors and residents expressing their support.

Ms. Thanika Phrutthipong, a vendor at the market, shared her emotional experience of meeting Mr. Jetsada in person after following his political journey for a long time. Overcome with emotion, she expressed her wishes for the success of the patriotic party and thanked Mr. Jetsada for his contributions to the nation.

Meanwhile, fans of Mr. Chaiwut, affectionately known as P' Oh Chaiwut, engaged with him by requesting him to perform dance moves from a popular video. This campaign event also featured the party's anthem, "Rak Chart 35," a modified version of the song "Chef Ba," making the market's atmosphere lively and engaging.

Mr. Chaiwut addressed the failure of populist policies and the current state of politics, emphasizing that the public is being deceived by empty promises. He described this as the "era of utilitarianism," where politicians prioritize cross-party alliances for benefits rather than adhering to ideological values. He criticized the predetermined power structures that prevent genuine change in Thai politics.

Mr. Jetsada echoed these sentiments, expressing disappointment with the political system. He criticized amendments to the constitution and laws that benefit specific groups and the abandonment of original positions by politicians seeking power. He highlighted the casual alliances formed by former ideological enemies, which undermine the potential for real change in the country.

The Rak Chart Party remains committed to its independent stance, rejecting alliances with larger, unethical parties. Mr. Jetsada emphasized the importance of supporting the new generation and maintaining integrity without being influenced by powerful financiers or party owners.
