Jiraporn Sindhuphrai Supports Communication of Cabinet’s Mission in Nakhon Phanom

Nakhon Phanom: Ms. Jiraporn Sindhuphrai, Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office, has reaffirmed her full support for the communication of the Cabinet’s mobile mission in Nakhon Phanom. During an inspection of the Press Center at the Greater Mekong Subregion Conference Hall, located at Nakhon Phanom University in Mueang Nakhon Phanom District, she assessed the readiness of the media facilities intended to aid the coverage of the official Cabinet meeting held outside the office.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Jiraporn received a briefing from officials of the Public Relations Department about the preparations made to ensure smooth and efficient media operations. These preparations include venue setup, equipment, facilities, and various connection systems to support media work in both central and regional areas.

Ms. Jiraporn emphasized the government’s commitment to disseminating information about the Cabinet meeting swiftly and accurately to the public. She highlighted the use of the Cabinet meeting as an opportunity to promote the upper northeastern provinces, known for their tourism and cultural significance. Additionally, the meeting will showcase products that reflect local identity and Thai wisdom, such as the sedge bags crafted by the Agricultural Housewives Group and the Nakhon Phanom lychee, which holds a Geographic Indication (GI) registration. The media center, managed by the Public Relations Department, plays a crucial role in supporting the media’s mission to perform their duties effectively.

The Minister also toured various work areas within the media center, seeking feedback and suggestions for further improvement in media support.

The Cabinet meeting in Nakhon Phanom Province is anticipated to consider and approve significant projects that will positively impact the economic and social development of the Northeastern region. An efficient media center is expected to facilitate widespread news reporting, ensuring information reaches all segments of the population.
