Kuala lumpur: Election Commission of Thailand: Jirutt Visaljit receives royal decree appointing him as a member of the Election Commission. The Election Commission of Thailand held a ceremony at 10:59 AM to receive the Royal Decree appointing Mr. Jirutt Visaljit as an Election Commissioner. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Narong Klanwarin, Chairman of the Election Commission, along with Mr. Anan Suwannarat and Mr. Thitichat Nuchanat, Election Commissioners, the Secretary-General of the Election Commission, and other officials from the Election Commission.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Saeng Boonmee, Secretary-General of the Election Commission, was the one who presented and read the Royal Decree appointing the members of the Election Commission. As for Mr. Jirutt, on February 26, 2026, the Senate approved his nomination as a suitable person to be appointed as a member of the Election Commission, to replace Mr. Lertviroj Kowattana, who resigned upon the expiration of his term.

Following the ceremony, the Chairman of the Election Commission and other commissioners presented gifts to express their congratulations. Representatives from the Department of Land Transport also joined in offering their congratulations.
