Bangkok: Jurin Laksanawisit visited Lat Phrao and Bueng Kum districts, guaranteeing that his nephew, "God," candidate number 8, is ready to champion honest politics and serve the people of Bangkok.
According to Thai News Agency, the campaign atmosphere in the Ladprao-Bueng Kum area was lively as Mr. Jurin Laksanawisit, former leader of the Democrat Party, visited the area to support his nephew, Mr. Panupong Laksanawisit, candidate number 8 for Constituency 13. He appealed for votes from the public, highlighting the strengths of the new generation candidate who has a heart for honest democracy.
This morning, the Democrat Party's candidate for Member of Parliament in Lat Phrao-Bueng Kum district, number 8, accompanied Mr. Jurin to Amornphan 9 Market and T. Ruamchok Market to meet and talk with vendors and shoppers. This visit marks his third time in Bangkok. Yesterday evening (January 31st), Mr. Jurin met with constituents at the Aerobics Area in Senanikom 1, where he was warmly and cordially welcomed.
Mr. Jurin introduced Mr. Panupong, candidate number 8, as someone well-prepared to represent the people. Beyond being a driven young person, he possesses a broad knowledge base and extensive work experience. Mr. Panupong holds two bachelor's degrees (in Creative Industrial Innovation and Law) from Thammasat University and Ramkhamhaeng University, and a master's degree in Political Science from Chulalongkorn University.
Currently, Mr. Panupong is a member of the Democrat Party's legal team. He previously served as a member of the working group for the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, as well as an assistant to former Prime Minister Chuan Leekpai as a Member of Parliament.
'I am confident that God Panupong, number 8, has sufficient knowledge and experience to serve as a voice for the people of Ladprao-Bueng Kum and is ready to work with everyone to promote honest politics,' said Mr. Jurin. He also concluded with heartfelt words, asking for an opportunity for a truly dedicated young person.
"I would like to entrust my nephew, God, number 8, to serve the people of Ladprao-Bueng Kum," he said before boarding a campaign vehicle to continue his campaign along Kaset-Nawamin Road.
It is noteworthy that in the Lat Phrao-Bueng Kum district, several key figures from the Democrat Party, in addition to Mr. Jurin Laksanawisit, including former MPs and prominent former party leaders, have already campaigned for votes for the pink ballot of the Democrat Party, number 27. These include Mr. Chuan Leekpai, Mr. Ongart Klamphaiboon, Ms. Oranong Kanchanachusuk, Mr. Rames Ratana-chewang, and Mr. Chanin Rungsang, among others. Yesterday (January 31st), Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva, the party leader, along with Mr. Sakoltee Phatthiyakul, the deputy party leader, appeared in several districts of Bangkok, including at Central EastVille in the Lat Phrao-Bueng Kum district. This reinforces the momentum for Bangkok residents to vote for the Democrat Party, both for candidates and in districts, in order to gain control of the political landscape and prevent a post-election government from being plagued by shady dealings, corruption, and division.
