Kakao Pay Corp. on Tuesday reported its second-quarter net profit of 626 million won (US$455,372), swinging from a loss of 6.2 billion won a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it continued to post an operating loss of 7.3 billion won for the April-June period, compared with a loss of 12.6 billion won a year earlier.
