Karam Ponpornklang Visits Bhumjaithai Party Headquarters on 18th Anniversary

Bangkok: "Karam" appears to send birthday wishes to Bhumjaithai Party. Reporters reported that Mr. Karom Ponpornklang, former MP candidate for Constituency 6, Roi Et, of the Palang Pracharath Party and former deputy spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office (quota allocated to the Bhumjaithai Party), visited the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters on the occasion of the party's 18th anniversary. During his visit, he met with Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, the leader of the Bhumjaithai Party.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Karom greeted Mr. Anutin with a respectful bow, to which the Prime Minister responded, "You're back?" Mr. Karom smiled in return and followed the Prime Minister to the coffee shop.

However, during the recent election, Mr. Karom was not selected as the Bhumjaithai Party's parliamentary candidate. This led to resentment and his subsequent posting of messages criticizing the party, ultimately resulting in his defection and candidacy under the Palang Pracharath Party.
