Keng Tachaya and Boom Kulchalee Lead Spiritual Journey in Yangon

Yangon: Keng Tachaya, a devout believer in auspicious rituals, explores Yangon to boost his luck. Singer Keng Tachaya shared his deeply immersive and authentic faith-based trip, reinforcing the image of Myanmar (Burma) as a safe and worthwhile travel destination. This time, however, he wasn't alone; he was joined by Boom Kulchalee Preechayadeekul, CEO of Best International, who led a group of spiritual seekers on this trip to Yangon.

According to Thai News Agency, the journey began at Yele Paya Pagoda, or the Water Pagoda, a sacred place accessible only by boat, setting an extraordinary start to the pilgrimage. The trip continued to Kyaik Kaung Pagoda and then to Botataung Pagoda, a focal point of faith dedicated to the Wish-Granting God and the Whispering Goddess, renowned for granting immediate wishes. The journey concluded with the world-class highlight, the Shwedagon Pagoda, where an atmosphere of devotion is palpable from the moment visitors arrive.

The highlight of this trip was the ultimate pilgrimage to the Five Instant Wish-Granting Deities (Boboji), visiting all the important sites: Kyaik Kaw Boboji, Kyaik Khauk Boboji, Botataung Boboji, Shwedagon Pagoda Boboji, and Sule Boboji. Another important spot that devout believers shouldn't miss is the Kyaik Kalaw Pagoda, which houses the statue of Boboji and features a statue of Princess Suphankanlaya for worship. This year marks its 400th anniversary, adding to the spiritual significance for visitors.

Keng Tachaya revealed that his decision to join the trip wasn't just for work but a personal one. He had wanted to experience the power of faith in Myanmar for a long time and chose to travel with Best International for their exclusive trips. It wasn't just about paying respects; there were storytelling sessions, ceremonies, and an understanding of each sacred site, making him feel more connected. He recounted that at some points, he even got goosebumps due to a certain energy. Visiting so many sacred sites felt like recharging himself.

Meanwhile, Boom Kulchalee emphasized that tourism to Myanmar (Burma) is currently still possible, especially on main routes like Yangon, where security is adequately maintained. "We designed the itinerary to be both safe and provide a fulfilling experience. We want Thai people to be open-minded because Myanmar has so much culture, faith, and stories waiting to be discovered. This trip is not just an ordinary journey, but an opening to a world of faith that is fun, exciting, and full of meaning."
