Chonburi, Khao Kheow Open Zoo opens for free visits in honor of His Majesty the King's 72nd birthday anniversary. Khao Kheow Open Zoo organizes activities on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King's 6th cycle birthday anniversary or 72 years old. Free admission from 27-29 July 2024. Visitors will find an exhibition honoring His Majesty the King and sign a blessing book. You can also see scrap metal art from the Metal Art Gallery from the Robot House, Sriracha, a wild animal dancing mascot show, music in the park, make merit by sponsoring wild animals and receive souvenirs, distribute saplings in honor of His Majesty the King, sell various promotional cards, and have fun with games to win prizes. There is also a parade of over 50 Humboldt penguins that come out to show off their cuteness up close, see 'Plai Khao Kheow', a 20-year-old elephant who comes to swim and show off for the only time in Thailand, see the hippo family, potamus, Mae Mali, stewed pork, sweet pork, pork leg, Mr. Flash, two-toed sloth, and feed the antelopes, giraffes, white rhinos, and capybaras. See ring-tailed lemurs on the island in the middle of the water where tourists can feed and take pictures with the ring-tailed lemurs up close, and enjoy the nighttime animal watching activity at Khao Kheow Night Zoo.
