Ban Pet Police Station has mobilized forces to hunt down the suspect.

According to Thai News Agency, at 2:07 PM on February 15, 2026, investigators at Ban Ped Police Station received a report of a robbery at a gold shop located at the Ban Thum intersection, Ban Thum Subdistrict, Mueang District, Khon Kaen Province.

Initial investigations at the scene revealed that the perpetrator was a single male who used a motorcycle as his getaway vehicle. He entered the gold shop and stole gold jewelry weighing approximately 26 baht (Thai weight unit), before quickly fleeing the scene on his motorcycle.

Following the incident, police officers deployed to investigate escape routes, reviewed nearby CCTV footage, and coordinated roadblocks along various routes to track down and prosecute the perpetrators.
