Las vegas: Sadly, fans of 70s rock music have been devastated by the passing of Ace Frehley, better known as ‘Spaceman,’ the founding guitarist of Kiss, on October 16, 2025, at the age of 74. At the band’s latest show, KISS Kruise: Land-Locked, in Las Vegas, frontman Paul Stanley asked the crowd to pay tribute to the late astronaut guitarist.

According to Thai News Agency, before the show, Stanley addressed the audience, saying, “Before we get started, before we get too wild, we just wanted to take a moment to think about some of the guys who started this band with us,” adding, “We talked about Ace. We had some misunderstandings, but that’s what family is all about.” Before the band played, they continued to entertain the crowd.

Held at Virgin Hotels, the KISS Kruise: Land-Locked event recreated the KISS Kruise fans know as a cruise ship, complete with bare-bones makeup. The event also brought together the die-hard Kiss Army to celebrate the band’s 50th anniversary.
