Chonburi: The Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with the Royal Secretariat to His Majesty the King, is actively monitoring the progress of the Koh Si Chang development project. This initiative is focused on enhancing housing for residents and promoting sustainable, nature-based tourism.
According to Thai News Agency, Air Chief Marshal Sathitpong Sukvimol, Royal Secretary to His Majesty the King, led a delegation to the project site in Koh Si Chang District, Chonburi Province. The delegation included key figures such as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Mr. Suchart Chomklin, and other senior officials. They convened at the Koh Si Chang Historical Learning Center to discuss the project's progress with local leaders and government representatives.

They also visited the Phra Chutathut Royal Residence Museum and contributed essential supplies to local student tour guides. This initiative aligns with the royal aspirations to support national well-being and sustainability.
The Ministry of Interior oversees several development projects on Koh Si Chang. These include water management with a new pumping station and improved pipelines, wastewater management through a new municipal water quality center, and electricity management with a solar farm and microgrid. Additionally, waste management improvements include a new incinerator, and tourism management upgrades involve enhancements to local tourist attractions. These efforts aim to ensure sustainable development and improve the quality of life for residents.
