Korn Plans Return to Democrat Party to Promote People-Centric Politics

Bangkok: Korn Chatikavanij, the former leader of the Chart Pattanakla Party, has announced his return to the Democrat Party, expressing his commitment to fostering politics that prioritize opportunities for the people. Korn emphasized that the Democrat Party aims to merge the expertise of both seasoned and new generations in response to the rapidly changing world.

According to Thai News Agency, Korn expressed his enthusiasm about rejoining the Democrat Party, reflecting on his belief in Thailand’s potential and the possibilities for improving the lives of its citizens. He highlighted the necessity of political reform to address major challenges, citing the Democrat Party’s ambition to spearhead such efforts as his motivation for returning to the political arena.

Korn mentioned the importance of involving both experienced individuals like himself, Sakolthee Phattiyakul, and Abhisit Vejjajiva, alongside the insights of the younger generation. He stressed that while experience is valuable, understanding new dynamics is crucial for progress. Korn outlined his intent to empower emerging leaders within the party to guide it towards addressing national issues and fulfilling the public’s expectations.

Korn also discussed plans for a management team that integrates both experienced and young members.
