Bangkok: Kritsanong Suwanwong has given her third statement in the ongoing legal proceedings involving Boss Pun and Noom Kanchai, following the court’s dismissal of extortion charges. She intends to continue fighting the case in the appeal court. Kritsanong, who spent 264 days in prison, expressed her distress over societal judgment prior to a court verdict.
According to Thai News Agency, Kritsanong, accompanied by her attorney Techasit Seedaeng, met with investigators to provide further testimony related to Boss Pun, the Icon, and the 20 million baht audio clip, as well as matters involving Noom Kanchai. After her release from prison on August 8, 2025, she was granted bail set at 200,000 baht, with the stipulation of wearing an electronic monitoring bracelet.
Techasit disclosed that Boss Pan, representing The Icon Company, had filed a complaint against Kritsanong, alleging involvement with a 20 million baht transaction. Kritsanong submitted documentary evidence to assert her innocence, explaining her inability to address the accusations while incarcerated. She is now compiling evidence to clarify the origins of the allegations and present it to investigators.
Kritsanong noted that this was the third instance in which she was summoned for additional testimony, having previously provided statements while imprisoned. She emphasized her intention to clarify her innocence, citing the lower court’s dismissal of extortion charges. She urged the public and media to avoid premature judgments, stressing the importance of awaiting a court decision.
In her statement, Kritsanong highlighted that while society had already cast judgment, she was only charged with “acting as a middleman in extortion,” for which she received a reduced sentence due to her cooperation. She detailed her challenges in securing bail, ultimately achieved through efforts by her father and lawyer, allowing her to pursue an appeal.
Addressing the extortion allegations, she stated that Boss Pan’s payment was not made under duress but as a mutual agreement. Kritsanong provided evidence, including conversation screenshots, to support her claims. She maintained her neutral stance, offering assistance to both the company and the victims, who lacked legal resources.
Reflecting on her time in prison, Kritsanong acknowledged the personal and financial hardships she faced, which have led her to reconsider her role in societal assistance. She revealed ongoing threats and plans to submit documentary evidence to the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) regarding remaining suspects.
The legal proceedings continue with related cases involving Kanchai and others awaiting further action from investigators.
