Sattahip: Executives and employees of Krungsri Consumer participated in a mangrove reforestation project at Ao Tung Prong, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province. Volunteer employees planted a total of 1,000 trees, equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 9,000 kilograms per year.

According to Thai News Agency, the project was led by Athit Rujirawat, President of Krungsri Consumer, a credit card and personal loan service provider. The initiative took place at the Reconnaissance Battalion, Marine Corps Division, Royal Thai Marine Corps. The effort is part of Krungsri Consumer's ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability.

Since 2011, Krungsri Consumer has organized reforestation activities, planting a total of 29,000 trees. This has helped reduce carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere by 261,000 kilograms. The initiative aligns with Krungsri Group's vision of achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions and curbing global warming.
