Bangkok, 15 Oct – ‘Leesaw’ denies involvement with ‘The Icon Group’, admits to opening an invoice to purchase out of pity, but has never sold anything to anyone and has no network, insists he is the victim.
After a famous social media page dug up an old photo from 2022, posting a welcome photo with Boss Paul standing next to Leesaw and a message welcoming “Leesaw” Teeratep Winothai, a former striker for the Thai national team, into the The Icon family, which caused criticism on social media, today Leesaw traveled to give a statement to the investigator to show his innocence after a photo went viral on social media of him as a member of The Icon Group. He explained to the media that today he came to clarify as a victim, confirming that he was not involved or the team leader of The Icon Group, as shown in the photo. He revealed that he had opened a bill but had never sold products to anyone before, but he himself was more of a victim because he felt that the company did not tell him all of his information.
Th
e part about opening the bill to buy products is because I know my sister who is a network and we had a chance to talk. At first, we talked about the ATK test because my wife has a business related to ATK. The network invited me to continue talking in the office. I thought we would talk about my wife’s business, so I went with her. But when I got there, I found that the network tried to persuade me to buy food supplement products. So we talked and invited her to listen to various information at the office. In front of the office, there was a supercar parked. It seemed very believable. Then, she took me to a VIP room to talk about the company information, product information, and brought me products to try. It was like being persuaded, so I signed up to help my sister and got some to eat. So I opened the bill and was persuaded to buy products to try.
Lee So said that she invested more than 220,000 baht because at that time there was a promotion. She stocked about 10 boxes of collagen products. She did not rec
eive the products. They were stored at the company. The company assured her that she did not need to worry, similar to the case of many other victims. From the investigation, the company sold the products online at a low price, but sold them to dealers at different prices. She thought that if she sold them retail, it would be difficult and she did not think it was her way. Therefore, she did not sell to anyone and never invited anyone to apply for membership.
As for the photo with Boss Paul, which was revealed to be a member of The Icon Group, when I arrived at the office, I met Boss Paul and greeted him as usual and asked to take a photo with him. This was the first and only time I met Boss Paul. After that, I went downstairs and many more representatives came to ask to take a photo with me. Normally, there are always people asking to take a photo with me. I am an easy-going person and not serious, so I let them take a photo. However, I do not know if the photo will be used to promote the company. As for wh
ether I have talked to a close salesperson about this matter, I have never talked about it. However, when we met, we greeted each other normally. Personally, I do not feel anything against it. I decided to invest because I am a compassionate person and like to help people close to me.
Kan Chom Phalang revealed that he brought the former executives to the Central Investigation Bureau because the police wanted information from high-ranking individuals. He believed that there were many high-ranking individuals in the company who had information. He believed that if the high-ranking bosses were to be prosecuted, information from the network would be an important part in providing evidence to the high-ranking executives. For those who are currently criticizing the team leader, please help by persuading them to provide information instead, so that there will be good information that can be used as evidence and at least help reduce the punishment of these network leaders from severe to light. -416-Thai News Agency
