Lieutenant Colonel Noon Sansanakom Awards Winners at GLO Cup 2026 Southern Region

Songkhla: Lieutenant Colonel Noon Sansanakom presented the closing awards for the GLO Cup 2026 Southern Region. The GLO Cup 2026, a youth 8-a-side football championship, Southern Zone qualifying round officially concluded on April 26, 2026, in Songkhla Province. Four teams each in the U-13 and U-15 age groups, along with players from the GLO STAR project in the Southern region, have been selected as representatives from the region.

According to Thai News Agency, the atmosphere on the final day was lively, with Lieutenant Colonel Noon Sansanakom, Director of the Government Lottery Office, presiding over the awards ceremony, along with Air Force Colonel Piyapong Phiwon, Chairman of the competition, who congratulated the young people who achieved outstanding results.

In the Under 13 age group final, Plookpanya Municipality under Royal Patronage narrowly defeated Kambhiri Wittaya School 1-0 to claim the Southern Region championship. Meanwhile, in the Under 15 age group, Peeraya x Bohmad Sport Academy defeated Yala Provincial Sports School 2-0 to win the championship.

The four teams that qualify for the semi-finals in each age group will represent the Southern region in the Thailand National Championship. The U13 team consists of Kambhira Wittaya School, the municipality of Plookpanya Phum (under the royal patronage), Peeraya Football Academy, and Euro FC Football Training Center. The U15 team consists of Peeraya x Bohmad Sport Academy, Songkhla FC Academy, Kambhira Wittaya School, and Yala Provincial Sports School.
