Bangkok: Liverpool Football Club has announced the official opening of its Liverpool FC Pop-Up Store at Discovery Plaza, Siam Discovery, a landmark in the heart of Bangkok. A major highlight of the event is the unveiling of the club's latest 2026/27 home kit, giving Thai fans the first opportunity to see and own it. The pop-up store will be open to "The Reds" fans from May 19th to June 7th, 2026 only.
According to Thai News Agency, this event marks a significant milestone, as a world-class football club has chosen Thailand as one of the key destinations for the launch of its new collection. The event was packed with exclusive activities and authentic licensed merchandise designed specifically for Thai football fans.
The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the 2026/27 home kit, inspired by the legendary classic kit from the 1989-91 season, the era in which the club won league titles under Sir Kenny Dalglish. This return reinterprets the geometric patterns and valuable DNA of the late 80s through sharp, modern technology and graphic design. The shirt retains its signature fiery red color, with white details on the adidas logo, sleeve cuffs, and shoulder stripes, seamlessly connecting glorious history with the present day.
Furthermore, the club is also arranging a big surprise for Thai fans by announcing a Liverpool FC Legend Meet and Greet event, bringing Dirk Kuyt, the legendary Dutch striker who once wore the Reds' shirt, to Bangkok for an official meet and greet with fans on May 21, 2026, at Discovery Plaza.
In addition, football fans visiting the pop-up store will enjoy exclusive experiences through highlight activities such as a Meet and Greet with Liverpool legends on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
Activities include the LFC Locker Room Experience (Two Eras in One): experience a recreated Anfield locker room divided into two eras - the classic 1989 style reminiscent of the league championship celebrations, and the modern locker room. Fans can take photos in the new kit to create historical memories.
