According to Thai News Agency, this achievement marks Luka Modric, the 40-year-old captain of the Croatian national team, reaching his 200th cap for Croatia. He becomes only the fourth player in history to achieve 200 or more caps for the national team, following Cristiano Ronaldo, who has 230 caps, Bader Al-Mutava with 202 caps, and Lionel Messi with 201 caps.
