According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Airin Phanrit, Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, announced that the government, through the Department of Employment, Ministry of Labour, is facilitating this recruitment drive. The positions are with COD Resorts Limited, a company that operates a comprehensive hotel and resort complex in the Macao Special Administrative Region, which includes casinos, shops, restaurants, and water parks. There are 20 different roles available, totaling 63 vacancies.
The salary for these positions ranges from 40,625 to 123,000 baht, contingent on the exchange rate. The employment contract is set for one year, with employees expected to work 48 hours a week on a rotating shift. The employer offers several benefits, including round-trip airfare upon completion of the contract, meals during working hours, accommodation support of 6,000 Macanese Patacas per year, and health insurance in accordance with Macau labor laws.
Applications can be submitted online at toea.doe.go.th, available 24 hours a day, including public holidays, until February 24, 2026. The roles include Assistant Chef, Chef de Party, Customer Service Officer, and many others. Applicants must be at least 22 years old, proficient in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, and possess a positive attitude and relevant work experience.
Ms. Airin emphasized that this recruitment drive is part of a government-sponsored program, ensuring no application or service fees for job seekers. Selected applicants will only incur necessary expenses such as photo fees, passport fees, and other minor costs, totaling approximately 4,000 baht.
