Oslo: Norway national team manager St¥le Solbakken has eased concerns about the fitness of Arsenal captain Martin ‹Å“degaard, stating that the captain's injury is "not serious". Odegaard missed Arsenal's last two games against Chelsea and Brighton after suffering a knee injury in the game against Brentford last month.
According to Thai News Agency, the 27-year-old also missed the FA Cup games against Wigan and Wolverhampton Wanderers. However, he made a brief return for 13 minutes in Arsenal's 4-1 North London derby win over Tottenham on February 22nd.
Despite missing Arsenal's last two games, Solbakken indicated that ‹Å“degaard, who is preparing for the World Cup with Norway this summer, could return to action before the end of the month.
