Maymint Jiraporn Crowned Miss Thailand 2026: A Celebration of Thai Elegance and Culture

Bangkok: Maymint Jiraporn Saladaeng from Udonthani has been crowned the winner of the Miss Thailand 2026 pageant, receiving the prestigious "Glory of Siam Crown." The event, which took place at Chaengwattana Hall, Central Chaengwattana, celebrated the representation of honor, culture, and power embodied by modern Thai women.

According to Thai News Agency, the pageant saw finalists donning traditional Thai costumes inspired by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. This segment, titled "Inspired by Queen Mother," showcased a blend of contemporary fashion with distinct Thai identity. The event featured a performance, "Mother of the Land: The Queen Mother Who Gave Birth to Thai Identity," by the Faculty of Performing Arts from the Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, Ministry of Culture. After a series of selection rounds, the final three contestants were chosen amidst an atmosphere of anticipation, further heightened by a special performance from the T-POP group Perses.

The announcement of Maymint Jiraporn Saladaeng as Miss Thailand 2026 marked the culmination of her journey in the beauty pageant world. Her victory signifies her as a representative of modern Thai women on both national and international stages. The event also announced the four runners-up: Chin Ruchathorn Kittipornpanich from Nakhon Sawan as the 1st runner-up, Fai Paweena Niamraksa from Ratchaburi as the 2nd runner-up, Noef Nattawadee Kanjanopas from Khon Kaen as the 3rd runner-up, and Kluay Rungrawee Chimchanwech from Nonthaburi as the 4th runner-up.
