Bangkok: MCOT Public Company Limited held a ceremony to commemorate the grace of His Majesty King Rama IX. MCOT Public Company Limited conducted a heartfelt ceremony to pay respects and express gratitude for the royal grace of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great on the occasion of King Naresuan the Great Day, observed on 13 October 2025.
According to Thai News Agency, the morning event was led by Mr. Sommai Suwanwong, Acting Director-General of MCOT Public Company Limited, who, along with the executives and staff, participated in making merit by offering alms to nine monks from Wat Phra Ram 9 Kanchanaphisek. This act was done as a royal merit offering to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great.
The ceremony included participation from the Acting Director-General, executives, staff, news anchors, and hosts of MCOT, all of whom gathered to pay respects and express gratitude on this significant occasion. King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great Memorial Day marks the anniversary of the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, Rama IX of the Chakri Dynasty. The event is part of MCOT’s ongoing activities to honor His Majesty’s contributions to the Thai people.
King Bhumibol’s reign is remembered for his tireless dedication to the welfare of the Thai people, under whose auspices they enjoyed peace and prosperity.
