MCOT Projects 2025 Revenue at 1,125 Million Baht Amid Strategic Digital Shift

Bangkok: MCOT held its 2026 annual shareholders' meeting to discuss continued cost management and focus on driving television and radio broadcasting. Revenue for 2025 is projected at 1,125 million baht. The company continues to manage costs effectively. This year, it focuses on driving growth in television and radio broadcasting, accelerating the transformation to a fully digital platform, and promoting Green Broadcasting to ensure long-term growth.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Sommai Suwanwong, Acting Chief Executive Officer of MCOT Public Company Limited, along with the Board of Directors and management team, attended the 2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, held electronically (E-AGM) at the MCOT Broadcasting and Television Operations Building. In 2025, MCOT projected total revenue of 1,125 million baht. The highest revenue-generating business was the digital terrestrial television network service (BNO), followed by television, radio, and digital businesses. Rigorous and continuous cost management resulted in a 4% reduction in total expenses and a 3% reduction in losses compared to the previous year.

Looking ahead to 2026, under the vision of "a recognized media leader driving stable and sustainable growth in digital and new businesses," MCOT aims to drive its television and radio operations to reinforce the role of "media" in producing and delivering valuable content to society. The focus will be on producing and expanding into a fully digital platform, coupled with business process adjustments to enhance operational efficiency and prioritizing digital media and new businesses. Enhancing competitiveness and creating opportunities for new revenue streams (New S-Curve) for the network business, further developing the television broadcasting system with HbbTV technology to enhance the viewer experience while simultaneously developing the digital network, increasing efficiency, reducing energy costs, and driving towards Green Broadcasting to support future business expansion. In addition, the focus is on improving land asset management to expand its utilization efficiently and generate new revenue streams fo r long-term returns.
