Bangkok: MCOT held its 2026 annual shareholders' meeting, accelerating the transformation to a fully digital platform and Green Broadcasting to drive long-term growth. MCOT Public Company Limited held its 2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders electronically. Mr. Sommai Suwanwong, Acting President and CEO, along with the board of directors and executives, attended the meeting at the MCOT Broadcasting and Television Operations Building.
According to Thai News Agency, the core business remains digital terrestrial television network services, followed by television, radio, and digital businesses. For 2026, MCOT continues to pursue its vision of "a recognized leader in the media business, creating stable and sustainable growth in digital and new businesses," focusing on enhancing the role of both television and radio media while expanding to a fully digital platform to increase competitiveness and generate new revenue streams in the future.
Furthermore, the network development is being accelerated with Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV technology to enhance the viewer experience, improve energy efficiency, reduce costs, and drive towards Green Broadcasting to support long-term growth. This also includes managing land assets to maximize benefits, create added value, and generate new revenue streams.
