A white Mini Cooper drove into a parking lot in Soi Laonadi, Mueang District, Khon Kaen Province, and began reversing into a parking space. While the driver was adjusting the car to align it, a black Mercedes Benz pulled up and parked. At that moment, a man from the Mercedes Benz got out, ran towards the Mini Cooper with an iron pipe, and struck the Mini Cooper's windshield, causing damage. A chase ensued on the road until reaching the Mueang Khon Kaen Police Station. The incident occurred around 3:00 AM on September 10th.
Our news team investigated at the Khon Kaen City Police Station and found both vehicles involved in the accident parked inside the station. The Mercedes-Benz had dents and scratches on the front grille and a sticker of the Khon Kaen Provincial Police. The Mini Cooper had cracked windows, appearing to have been struck with a weapon, dents on the rear, and a detached license plate.
Pol. Col. Yosawat Kaewsubthanynit, Superintendent of Khon Kaen City Police Station, revealed that both parties involved knew each other before the incident. They met at an entertainment venue in the Khon Kaen municipal area and had a prior argument.
