Ministry of Culture Invites Public to Celebrate Loi Krathong in Traditional Style

Bangkok: The Ministry of Culture invites people to float krathongs in Thai style to pay respect to the Mother of the Land. Wat Arun Ratchawararam is packed with both Thai and foreign tourists attending the Loi Krathong festival. This year, the Department of Cultural Promotion (Ministry of Culture) is organizing the event under the theme “Loi Krathong Thai, Thai, Caring for the Mother of the Land” and inviting people to wear traditional Thai clothing to float krathongs and participate in activities to preserve cultural values.

According to Thai News Agency, the celebration at Wat Arun Ratchawararam highlights the significance of cultural preservation and encourages public participation. The festival’s theme emphasizes the importance of respecting and caring for the land, aligning with traditional customs and practices.
