Ministry of Energy Proposes Restructured Electricity Rates to Benefit Low-Consumption Consumers

Bangkok: At today's cabinet meeting, the Ministry of Energy proposed a restructuring of electricity rates to help low-consumption consumers. The first 200 units will be charged no more than 3 baht, while those using more than 200 units will also benefit from the reduced rate on the first 200 units.

According to Thai News Agency, Supajee clarified the controversy surrounding durians priced at 100 baht each, stating it was a promotional ploy and influencer marketing tactic. Supajee believes the advertised price was accurate given the public scrutiny.
