Bangkok: The Ministry of Interior has opened a channel for checking local government exam scores, starting today. Minister Worasit emphasized that all procedures must be transparent and verifiable.

According to Thai News Agency, the Ministry has enabled candidates to review their scores from August 13-31, ensuring fairness in the local government examination process and building confidence among candidates and the public. Minister Worasit stressed the importance of maintaining transparency and verifiability throughout the process.

The Department of Local Administration (DLA) has established a center to assist candidates whose names do not appear on the list of successful candidates. This service allows them to directly check their scores through official channels. The service will be available from August 13th until August 31st, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM during official working hours. Candidates can submit requests at the Suwatthana Building, 1st Floor, Department of Local Administration, or any Provincial Local Administration Office nationwide, eliminating the need for travel to the central office.

Mr. Worasit Liengprasit, Deputy Minister of Interior, stated that the opportunity for examinees to review their scores is intended to clarify the examination process following an investigation into irregularities and the compilation of a new list of successful candidates. The principle is to provide verifiable information to those with doubts, ensuring every step of the process is clear.

Handling this issue requires clarity for both those investigated and those affected by the process. It is essential to ensure that everyone can officially verify their information, fostering understanding and trust in the system.

The Department of Local Administration has appointed a special committee to handle applications, verify, and disclose scores to applicants according to established criteria. This committee will compile and report results to the Director-General of the DLA to ensure the process remains systematic, standardized, and verifiable.

Mr. Worasit further stated that all procedures must adhere to principles of correctness, transparency, and accountability, providing clear channels for candidates to receive their scores. This ensures that the local recruitment examination process proceeds fairly and builds trust among candidates and the public.
