Impact, Ministry of Interior presents royal medals to boost morale and awards outstanding village headmen and sub-district headmen of the year 2024 Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, presided over the ceremony to present royal medals to 277,000 village headmen, sub-district doctors, village headmen's sergeants, and village headmen's assistants, and the ceremony to present awards to 264 outstanding village headmen and village headmen of 2024 who performed their duties with outstanding performance and took care of the happiness and suffering of the people at the local level. Mr. Anutin said that August 10 of every year is the day of village headmen and sub-district headmen, the day we honor local administrators. In the auspicious year of His Majesty the King's 6th cycle birthday, 72 years old, and on the occasion of the 132nd anniversary of 'The King's People, the Foundation of the Land,' the Ministry of Interior has received royal permission to issue royal medals to be p resented to village headmen, sub-district doctors, sub-district headmen's sergeants, and assistant village headmen to provide morale and encouragement in performing their duties, which is considered a great honor. Mr. Anutin also expressed his congratulations to everyone who received awards this year and thanked everyone for their dedication and sacrifice in performing their duties strongly for the happiness of the people, especially as representatives of the government sector who will forward and create understanding in the policies of the government and the Ministry of Interior, both in terms of developing local areas to have equal prosperity, to create a good quality of life and stable careers, promoting careers in the community, maintaining peace and order and safety, as well as preventing and solving drug problems, to create unity in the community, and to jointly protect and honor the monarchy, which is revered by Thai people.
