Ministry of Interior Proposes High-Level Administrative Transfers

Bangkok: The Ministry of Interior has proposed the appointment of the Director-General and Governor, transferring “Chaiwat-Narucha” into the inspector group. “Nirat”, the Chiang Mai governor, is set to govern, while “Phopchanok”, the Phetchaburi governor, will control the local area.

According to Thai News Agency, in today’s Cabinet meeting, the Ministry of Interior is preparing to propose the transfer of high-level administrative officials for the Cabinet’s consideration, totaling four positions. These include Mr. Chaiwat Junthiraphong, who is currently the Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration, to be appointed as Inspector General. Additionally, Mr. Narucha Khosasivilai, the Director-General of the Department of Local Administration Promotion, is also proposed to serve as Inspector General.

Furthermore, Mr. Nirat Phongsitthaworn, who presently holds the position of Chiang Mai Governor, is proposed to become the Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration. Meanwhile, Pol. Lt. Phopchanok Chalanukroh, the current Phetchaburi Governor, is suggested for the role of Director-General of the Department of Local Administration Promotion.
