Ministry of Labour Mobilizes Aid for Thai Workers Injured in Israeli Explosion

Bangkok: The Ministry of Labour is urgently coordinating assistance for the six Thai workers injured in the explosion in Israel. "Chulaphan" expresses concern for Thai workers injured in the explosion in Israel, ordering urgent monitoring of their condition and close assistance.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chulaphan Amornvivat, Minister of Labour, expressed his concern for Thai workers injured in an explosion in an agricultural area of Metula, northern Israel, this morning. He instructed the Labour Attach© in Tel Aviv to closely monitor the situation, coordinate assistance, and ensure the rights and benefits of the Thai workers. Initially, the Labour Attach© in Tel Aviv received reports that six Thai agricultural workers were injured by an old unexploded ordnance. Two workers sustained serious injuries and were hospitalized for surgery, while the other four are safe. The Labour Attach© is currently verifying the information, including details of the injured workers' conditions and names.

Mr. Chulaphan further stated that the Ministry of Labour places the highest priority on the safety and well-being of Thai workers abroad. The Labour Attach© in Tel Aviv has been instructed to closely monitor the condition of the injured workers, coordinate with medical facilities and local authorities, and expedite the investigation into their rights and assistance measures for their families. Israeli police and bomb disposal units are currently on the ground investigating the facts and cause of the incident. The Ministry of Labour will continue to monitor the situation and report any updates as soon as confirmed information is received.
