More than 6 million people have paid homage to the late King in front of his urn

More than six million people have arrived in Bangkok to pay their homage to the beloved late King Bhumibol Adulyadej before his royal urn inside the Grand Palace, the Bureau of the Royal Household said in a statement today.

It said that by the closing time of the palace at 9.00pm, a total of 32,303 people were counted yesterday.

Throughout the past 162 days after the passing of the beloved king, a total of 6,191,859 people have arrived to pay homage to the late King in front of his urn, the Bureau of the Royal Household said.

Donations so far amounted to more than 495 million baht.
