Muangthong United Appoints Bosnian League Champion Ivankovic as New Head Coach

Muangthong united: Muangthong United Football Club, competing in Thai League 1, has announced the appointment of Mario Ivankovic, the 2024-2025 Bosnian League Coach of the Year, as their new head coach. Ivankovic led Zrinjski Mostar to a double championship in the 2024-2025 Bosnian Premier League and the 2024 Bosnian Super Cup. He also previously managed the Bosnia and Herzegovina U-19 national team, achieving a remarkable record of 33 wins, 6 draws, and only 9 losses last season, scoring 89 goals and conceding only 38.

According to Thai News Agency, the Croatian coach will immediately take over as head coach to ensure the team is in the best possible condition for the start of the second leg. He will be assisted by fellow Croatian coach Frano Herkasz, who will also oversee fitness. Meanwhile, coaches Jetsada Jitsawat, Dusakorn Thonglao, and goalkeeping coach Wisanusak Kaewruang will remain as the coaching staff.
