The telephone interview revolved around the outcomes of Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul's official visit to China from July 16-20, 2026. During this visit, Prime Minister Anutin's rendition of Teresa Teng's "Tian Mi Mi" at a luncheon hosted by Chinese Premier Li Qiang captivated audiences in both nations. The Chinese ambassador emphasized that Thai-Chinese relations are robust across various levels, ranging from royal families to government and people-to-people interactions. He recalled the successful visit of Thailand's King and Queen to China last year, along with Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's significant contributions to fostering cooperation between the two nations.
